全媒识 — Privacy Policy

This policy covers "全媒识" (the "App").

In plain words: a purely local recognition tool — reading text or QR codes from a
screenshot, and word segmentation, all run offline on your Mac. What you capture and the
images you feed it never leave your computer.

1. What we collect

Nothing.

• We do not upload your screenshots, images, or file paths.
• We do not upload the text, QR contents, or segmentation results you produce.
• We do not upload your usage history or settings.
• No analytics, no tracking, no advertising SDK.
• All settings stay on your own Mac, inside the app sandbox:
  ~/Library/Containers/com.mac.gcdev.g31/

2. How the App handles your data

Reading from a screenshot

• Capturing reads only the screen area you explicitly select, for recognition on your Mac.
• The capture and the recognition result stay on your Mac; neither is uploaded.
• Results go to the clipboard or a file you choose — your call.

Reading from an image

• Only images you explicitly pick in the system picker are read.
• Text and QR recognition uses Apple's built-in Vision framework, running offline on your Mac.
• Word segmentation uses Apple's built-in NaturalLanguage framework, also on your Mac.
• No network access, no cloud OCR or AI service, and no image upload.

The clipboard

• When recognising an image from the clipboard, the App reads content you explicitly copied.
• What is read is never uploaded and never written to a log.

3. The only things that go online

• App Store in-app purchase (unlocks the full feature set).
  Payment, receipts and refunds are handled by Apple. We never see your payment details and
  never receive your name or account.
• Purchase verification: after a purchase or restore, the App sends Apple's
  transaction identifier and the App's bundle identifier to the developer's server to
  confirm the transaction is valid. No receipt file and no device identifier are sent.
  The App also submits a randomly generated local identifier with the transaction so the
  purchase can be matched up; it contains none of your personal information.
  Beyond this the App makes no network requests.

4. Permissions

• The App requires Screen Recording permission, used solely for screenshot recognition; it
  does not read the screen otherwise.
• The App does not require Accessibility permission and does not use the camera or microphone.
• It only reads clipboard content you explicitly copied, and files you explicitly grant
  through the system picker.
• Uninstalling the App removes its sandboxed settings.

5. Third parties

The App includes no third-party analytics, advertising, or data-collection SDK. Any network activity involving Apple is itemised under "the only things that go online" above.

6. Your rights

• Delete your settings: just remove ~/Library/Containers/com.mac.gcdev.g31/
• Uninstalling the App also removes its sandboxed data.
• Revoke Screen Recording: System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen Recording
